2015 saw the global intralogistics and material handling event CeMAT come to Australia for the first time. The event was held from the 5th – 7th of May 2015 at Sydney’s Olympic Park.
The event provided a great opportunity for attendees to listen to and engage with industry experts, event sponsors and exhibitors, regarding the latest industry trends, challenges and case studies.
The exhibitor’s hall also provided a forum for key networking opportunities between suppliers and key industry decision makers, with numerous business deals discussed and finalised throughout the event.
Speedshield Technologies attended CeMAT in conjunction with fellow Adaptalift Group companies Adaptalift Hyster and Combilift. Speedshield was able to display its full range of OH&S and telemetry software and hardware packages. With the key highlights being:
- A working demonstration of Forktrack advanced fleet management safety system. Attendees were able to see the many advanced safety features that could be applied to fleet vehicles with Forktrack and the instant control and reports management can view using the program.
- 3D modelling software which is used by Speedshield to create working model examples of client problem situations and how Speedshield products can assist in providing a solution to the problem.
- Speedshield’s new Vehicle Integration Platform (VIP) was on display showcasing Speedshield’s ability to seamlessly integrate its data and telemetry software into pre-existing software and hardware elements.
As well as being an exhibitor at the show Speedshield CEO Nathan McKenzie was able to deliver a key note address at the event conference.
The topic of the address was ‘Technology, Control and Analytics to Improve MHE Productivity and Lower Costs’, it looked at overall problems today’s businesses face and solutions Speedshield has developed to rectify the problems.
Overall CeMAT 2015 was a successful event and Speedshield Technologies look forward to further involvement in the 2016 event in Melbourne.
