National Network Administrator
Automotion Control Systems Pty Ltd is a leading technologist in Fleet Management solutions, adaptive vehicle control systems and IT Service solutions. With a comprehensive professional IT and Engineering team - ACS designs, manufactures, and distributes cutting edge embedded technology globally, and provides IT development & support solutions to the Adaptalift Hyster group, with its intention to expand to local IT markets. We are seeking to appoint a National Network Administrator to join our team.
The National Network Administrator will be responsible for network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance across AALH nationally, leading a team of IT professionals to achieve target objectives of network efficiency, cost, and minimal downtime.
The National Network Administrator will also be engaged in other IT projects to do with SQL Database Administration, Great Plains Business Solutions, with an opportunity to get involved in development projects, web solutions, reporting, and general IT support.
A Successful Candidate will fulfill the following technical requirements:
- Expertise in Network Architecture, Standards, Design, Implementation, Maintenance to ensure minimum downtime and maximum network efficiency
- Expertise in implementations of tools of Data Recovery systems and their use in sensitive business operations
- Expertise in day to day Service and Network Administration
- Understanding and/or training in ITIL
- Minimum 3 years experience in supporting Microsoft platform based IT solutions such as Windows Server 2003/2008 & Exchange Server, networking such as WAN, VPN, and Backup/DR solutions;
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of LAN and WAN setup including routers, firewalls, inter-site connectivity, and external agencies
- Strong knowledge in Remote Access, External Email Access, and Internet Services
- MCSE or equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of Virus Protection / SPAM
- Management skills in Internet and Intranet Services
A Successful Candidate will have:
- Proven experience in technical project management either leading or participating as a core team member delivering IT projects
- Ability to work in a team of broad IT skills
- Strong organisational structure, willingness to track expenses as per standard Company IT procedures
- Ability to train and support users and product professional documentation and participate in Help desk duties
Occasional interstate travel may be incurred, as will work hours commensurate with the task at hand.

Control Systems Hardware Engineer (Innovation)

ACS is positioned to lead the World market in Intelligent Speed Adaptation Systems the next frontier in road safety. With Federal Government backing, and contracts with Statutory Authorities such as the Victorian Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Speedshield is synonymous with on vehicle control technology.
Brief
The Control Systems Hardware Engineer Embedded Systems is responsible for:
- PCB Design and Development overseeing and assisting its construction to ensure correctness.
- Maintaining a relationship with Engineering contractors, ensuring input, control and understanding over hardware design.
- Firmware Programming (ANSI C) for Microcontrollers.
- Liaise with Applications Development to ensure correctness of hardware applications to vehicles.
- Liaise with Product Support where necessary, to ensure they are up to date with the latest Innovation developments.
- Engage with all facets of trouble shooting. This includes hardware fault finding, bug tracking, wiring fouling, machine/vehicle specific vehicles.
Reporting to the Innovation Manager, the position is one which ensures completeness of the product in terms of quality of the design and development, preventative measures in place for real world exposure

Requirements
The position requires the ability to work both autonomously, a passion for work in automotive control systems, a consummate eye for detail, excellent verbal and written skills, professional appearance, and proven ability to complete tasks involving complex technical decisions within a limited timeframe taking ownership of issues and seeing through its completion.
Occasional interstate/overseas travel may be incurred, as will work hours commensurate with the task at hand.
Renumeration
$42,500 - $52,500 PA Based on Experience
