REQUIREMENT:
Dunlop Foams had safety issues with forklift speed, and driver’s restraint usage as well as issues with forklift repairs and maintenance.

- Speedshield Speed and Acceleration Control
- Speedshield Logic Based Driver Restraints and Driver Authorization
- Speedshield Transmission Control
DETAILS:
In order to address speed issues, Speedshield has been installed to control the maximum vehicle speed on site.
To ensure drivers are using the vehicle seatbelts correctly Dunlop Foams have implemented Speedshield’s Logic Based Driver Restraint system.
This technology provides for combinations of seat, seatbelt and handbrake interlocks to trigger alarms and power down the vehicle.
These alarms and power down functions have user configurable time periods should the operator not engage or disengage the interlocks in the correct order.
Dunlop Foams have implemented Speedshield Transmission Control which protects the vehicle transmission from being forced into forward or reverse whilst traveling in the opposite direction.
