REQUIREMENT:
Nestle had safety issues with forklift speed in multiple zones, and driver restraint usage as well as issues with forklift repairs and maintenance.

DETAILS:
Nestle needed to introduce different maximum forklift speeds in different zones of the warehouse. Speedshield zone based speed control has been installed on the vehicles thus controlling maximum vehicle speed within a location.
Speedshield Logic based Driver Interlocks / restraints have been implemented to ensure correct usage of seatbelts at all times and ensuring forklift safety procedures are followed.
Nestle have also implemented Speedshield Transmission Control which protects the vehicle transmission from being forced into forward or reverse whilst traveling in the opposite direction.
